Getting to Baltimore

Baltimore is easily accessible by plane, train or highway. There are two major airports that serve Baltimore: Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). BWI provides more than 650 flights daily to dozens of domestic and international destinations. BWI is located approximately 15 minutes from the ADCES22 Annual Conference Hotels and the Baltimore Convention Center. Click here for information on the airport.

United Airlines is pleased to offer attendees 2% to 10% discounts on published fares to Baltimore between Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 20, 2022. To take advantage of this discount, you must complete the following steps.
  • Under the Flight tab, click on “Advanced Search.”
  • Under “Upgrades, Certificates, and Promotion Codes” at the bottom of the page and enter ZKEM161548 into the Promotions and Certificates bar. The fares shown will include the discount.

Delta Airlines is pleased to offer special discounts for Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists.

Southwest Airlines is pleased to offer special discounts for Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists.
  • Click in the Company ID Number box and enter code 99477965 and click Continue.
  • Enter your desired flight information to Baltimore and click Search. *Note that flight dates must be between 8/9/22 and 8/18/22.

Live Just Outside the Baltimore Area?

MARC Train service is a commuter rail system that services the Baltimore area. Click here for more information on MARC. MARC Service fares vary by distance traveled. Daily weekly or monthly tickets are available.

The Penn Line service operates from Perryville, Martin Airport in the north and from Bowie, Odenton, BWI Airport, Halethorpe and West Baltimore to Baltimore, Penn Station. Penn Line service operates 7 days /week.

The Camden Line service operates from Washington with stops including Greenbelt, Laurel and Savage, Jessup to Baltimore’s Camden Station. Camden Line service operates Monday through Friday only.

Take the Light Rail directly to the Convention Center Area

The easiest way to get to the Baltimore Convention Center area from BWI airport is on the light rail. Board the light rail at Terminal E of the airport and ride for eleven stops until you reach the convention center stop or your preferred stop. Make sure to check the schedule for when you arrive, as the light rail does not run at all hours. Click here for more information

Getting Around Baltimore

Ride for FREE Within the City with the Charm City Circulator

The free shuttles run every 10 minutes from early morning to late night, seven days a week. Click here for more information and to plan your route.
  • The orange line picks up and drops off right in front of the Baltimore Convention Center (stop 220) and services Hollins Market to Harbor East.
